Hook: Hanak Nymph Hook
Body: Mohair Yarn
Bead: Tungsten
Tail: Antron
Another quick tie: Put the bead on the hook, tie in Antron yarn for the tag and mohair yarn for the body. Wind the mohair yarn forward and tie off. I trie to match the tying thread to the mohair yarn, so that the whip finish blends in nicely. In my opinion a hot spot is not needed, because the bead head is already bright and reflecting the light.
In heavily pressured waters I don't use beads like this, because I have seen that fish where able to learn to avoid them. If your waters are not heavily fished with fly gear, gold bead heads work extremely well. I always carry a couple of gold bead nymphs in my fly box and you really should, too.
